Personal Care and Daily Living Assistance

When a loved one begins experiencing a shift in their ability to manage day-to-day tasks and cannot do everything they used to, it is the perfect time to expand their support network to include services from Seniors Helping Seniors® Lorain County in-home care services. We provide support for your loved one and our assistance allows them to stay in the comfort of their own home.

Personal Care is the provision of “hands-on” care related to personal hygiene or functional Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) in a person’s home that they cannot meet independently. ADLs are routine activities that people perform every day without needing assistance, including:

• Dressing
• Eating/Drinking
• Bathing and Showering
• Toileting (Oral Care, Personal Hygiene, Grooming)
• Mobility Assistance

Our caregivers provide companionship and assistance with ADLs, and understand the challenges that come with aging. We are available to help day or night to alleviate some of the responsibility for overworked families.
