SENIORS HELPING SENIORS® IN HOME CARE SERVICES CELEBRATING TEN YEARS IN THE COMMUNITY

Co-Owner Janet Callaway and Alice Iseminger “We have learned that dehydration, malnutrition, falls and depression can have severe consequences on older adults,” states Janet Callaway who, along with her friend, Alice Iseminger, opened their non-medical, in-home senior care business, Seniors Helping Seniors® services, in 2009.  The consequences of these issues include a loss of independence, health, and peace of mind.

In-home care is all about staying comfortable in your own space for as long as possible, with a bit of extra help. Seniors Helping Seniors hires mostly older adults (40+) to come into the homes of seniors to help with daily tasks that may have become more challenging with age.  “We strive to have the same one or two caring people come into the home so that a real bond can develop between the one who is receiving help, and the one providing the help” explains Callaway. “Our years in business have taught us many things,” adds Iseminger, “But most of all, to be patient, with others, with yourself, and to plan ahead for life’s aging process.

If you or your loved one need affordable, one-on-one attention in the security and familiarity of home, or if you want to help others by becoming a caregiver, call Janet at 440-935-3848.
