We Love Hiring Baby Boomers

We Love Hiring Baby Boomers

Baby Boomers – those born between 1946 and 1964 – comprise the largest demographic segment in the United States. According to the Pew Research Center,  “the majority of Boomers are still in the labor force, and 29% of Boomers ages 65 to 72 were working or looking for work, outpacing the labor market engagement of the Silent Generation (21%) and the Greatest Generation (19%) when they were the same age.”

Your local Seniors Helping Seniors® In-Home Services strives to match seniors who need help with Providers (caregivers) who want to help. The majority of our Providers are Boomers who want to help you or a loved one and not “take over” and who can relate to your life, abilities, and potential limitations.

Many of our Providers have been caregivers for their own loved ones and they want to continue to provide comfort and security for others by assisting them around the house, with over-night and 24-hour care, personal assistance and support for those experiencing dementia, Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease.  We are blessed to have hired so many dedicated and compassionate caregivers.

We thank the families who have invited us into their homes, and to acknowledge the exceptional people who provide care. We are privileged to provide affordable care for the elderly and their loved ones in Lorain and surrounding counties, and we take this responsibility to heart.  If you are interested in helping others, or know of someone who needs assistance, please call Seniors Helping Seniors at 440-935-3848, or visit www.seniorshelpingseniors.com. Together we can make a difference in our own life and the life of someone we care about.
